Dear Veteran,
Thank you for your service in the army, navy, air force, marines, or coast guard. You sacrificed seeing your family to go into combat. To honor you, I will put a flag outside of my house every Veteran's Day. This will remind my neighbors how lucky they are to be free. America wouldn't be the country it is without your service.

Sincerely,
Trevor Marquis

Dear Grandpa,

Thank you so much for doing all you possibly do to protect our country. I know that you had enough courage to be in World War II. Even though I never knew you, I know that being ready to deploy takes alot of guts. Thank you (again) for being so brave and ensuring that this country is a free and peaceful place. We all honor you. I never knew you, but I want you to know that you are loved. Loved by me and by your country. Your devotion and loyalty to our country along with your colleages has ended wars and ensured peace. Without you, the world just wouldn't be the same. I love you Grandpa! Thank you!!

Sincerely,
Tessa

Dear Grandpa,
Thank you for serving in World War 2.
I really miss you. I know you were in the 442 and the 100th Infantry battalion. I also know (probably) that you did good on the battle field. Your regiment's motto was ''Go for broke''. You got the Congressional Medal of Honor. The family has a replica of it.

Thank You.
